Rosslyn Park Football Club is a Rugby Union club based in South-West London. The 1st XV is a semi-professional side who compete in National League 1 (the 3rd tier of the English League system).

This student placement is an opportunity for a passionate, driven individual to develop hands-on S&C/Sports-Science experience within a semi-professional performance environment for the 2026/27 season.

Get involved in the day-to-day delivery of performance support, helping prepare athletes to compete at the top of their game. This placement is ideal for students studying Sport & Exercise Science, Strength & Conditioning, or related disciplines looking to build real-world experience in a performance setting.

KEY EXPERIENCE AREAS:

  • On-field S&C delivery (e.g., warm-ups, speed & conditioning work)
  • Gym-based S&C session delivery
  • Testing & monitoring (gym and field-based, including GPS)
  • Involvement in return-to-train processes for injured players

There will be opportunities to take initiative, lead elements of sessions, and build your coaching and technical skills alongside experienced practitioners.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

  • The time commitment is 2x evenings (Tues/Thurs) and Match-day each week, commencing June 2026 and concluding April 2027.
  • Travel expenses reimbursed.
  • Full responsibilities of placement TBD, depending on the applicant’s profile and availability.
  • You’ll be fully integrated into the performance team and treated as a valued contributor.
  • Opportunity to develop & learn along-side experienced accredited coaches.
