Rosslyn Park recently made their inaugural appearance in the Surrey U22s Competition, which is run across the Christmas and Easter holidays. The competition is designed to encourage former youth players who are now attending university to return to their home clubs, helping to bridge the gap between youth, university and adult club rugby.
Park’s first-ever U22s squad has been assembled from the club’s highly successful Colts sides of recent seasons. After coming together for just one training session before Christmas, the group went straight into action in the Surrey U22s Tier 1 competition – The John Douglas Cup.
The group matches were played under the lights at The Rock on Friday 2 January 2026, where two outstanding performances delivered two well-earned victories.
ROSSLYN PARK U22 10 – 0 GUILDFORD U22
ROSSLYN PARK U22 15 – 7 Wimbledon U22
Those results have put Rosslyn Park U22s in a strong position heading into the semi-final and final on Easter Saturday, 4 April 2026. (Location TBC)
Most importantly, the squad bonded brilliantly, clearly enjoying the rugby, their continued connection with Rosslyn Park, and the chance to come together again as a group – on and off the pitch.
