Their opponents this weekend, Bishop’s Stortford, have had a mixed bag of results to start their campaign and they now sit in 7th place having picked up bonus point wins against Hull and Darlington Mowden Park. However, they have also suffered a close loss to Cambridge which saw them pick up two losing bonus points, and they are most recently coming off a 34 point loss at home against Rams last weekend.
The last meeting between these two sides from earlier this calendar year saw Bishop’s Stortford run out as 36-24 winners at home, a result Park will hope to put behind them with a win this Saturday. However, you do have to go back to 2017 to find the last time Park lost at home against Bishop’s Stortford as Park have won the last three meetings at The Rock and will be looking to maintain that winning home record.
Park will need a huge performance if they want to continue their perfect start to the season and grab another bonus point win against a Bishop’s Stortford side that will have full belief that they can overturn the league leaders at home.
