The Rosslyn men head to Leicester this Saturday

Our first XV take on the Lions at Westleigh Park, having recently hosted them at The Rock in Pre-season where the fixture finished 48-12. Leicester currently sit in 13th place whilst Rosslyn sit in 6th. The lions have struggled away from home whilst their home results have been tightly contested affairs, the squad will be well aware of the tough fixture they’re heading into this weekend.

Captain Arthur Ellis said “Leicester have struggled away from home however their home form is much better and the performances they’re putting in on their own turf have taken a lot of hard work to beat. We’re excited for the opportunity and we know it will be  another difficult fixture.”

Park’s last trip to Leicester was a success, we left with five points after a tough fixture that finished 23-32. This one is guaranteed to be an attritional fixture and our forward pack will have to get the set piece firing in order to deal with the threats the lions offer.
