We’re delighted to welcome you back to The Rock for this tomorrow’s National One clash against Darlington Morden Park (DMP). A special welcome also goes to DMP, who arrive in South West London full of bounce after a month-long break from competitive action.
In their last outing, DMP pushed Rotherham to the limit, a team known for their formidable home record. They’ll be eager to build on that performance and make a statement at The Rock.
Our boys come into this match on the back of three outstanding results, two of which being local derby W’s!!!! We’re incredibly proud of how the boys responded following a challenging result at Sedgley during Storm Darragh. As a coaching team, we always seek to identify key opportunities for the weekend, and what’s been particularly pleasing is the team’s ability to adapt and refine our style of play. This speaks volumes about the characters within our squad! We consistently challenge the boys to learn from their experiences, and this has been especially evident over the past three weeks, largely due to the strong leadership from within the group.
This week, the boys have been hard at work refining their attacking systems, and they’re eager to put this to the test against a well-organised DMP side.
We hope you enjoy the game, and I look forward to catching up with many of you at the bar at 5pm, hopefully celebrating another 5 points added to our tally!
