Park welcome Taunton Titans to The Rock this weekend in the penultimate home tie of 2022.
Following the tough loss away to Plymouth last week, Park are looking to get back on the horse and pick up a vital win that will keep them in touch with the likes of Sale and Cambridge.
Taunton have struggled somewhat to start the season as they have managed to win just three games of the eleven they have played and have lost their last three on the trot. They currently sit in 10th on the league table with 22 points and have yet to win a home game this season. However, this does mean that all three of their wins this year came away from home, a stat that should tell Park not to take the Somerset outfit lightly at The Rock on Saturday, especially following their most recent result in which they pushed the league leaders, Rams, to the limit in a close 3-point loss last week.
Park have faced Taunton just twice following the latter’s promotion from National League 2 South following the 2019/20 season. In both of those matchups Park picked up dominant wins as they tallied 108 points across the two fixtures and conceded just 35. Park will hope for more of the same on Saturday.
