Match Preview – Hull (A)

Read our preview of Saturday’s trip to Hull

Hull vs rosslyn park, SATURDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER, KO 2PM

Park make the lengthy away trip up to Hull on Saturday as they look to claim a fourth win on the trot to start the season.

Park’s hosts this weekend have had a tough start to their debut season in National League 1 after they gained promotion from National League 2 North last year, having so far picked up losses away at Bishop’s Stortford and Rams as well as a home loss against Darlington Morden Park.

However, Hull have also been able to pick up 2 bonus points along the way and have yet to score below 20-points in a game this season, managing to score a total of 10 tries across the first three weeks of the season. They are sure to be tough opposition and Park cannot afford to underestimate the home side if they wish to add a fourth successive bonus point win.

Noticeably, the two sides have struggled with discipline this season with both having been shown 5 yellow cards and Hull having picked up a red card as well (co-captain Cameron Curry will miss the game against Park as he will be serving the final game of his ban this weekend). The penalty count will be a key area of focus for Park and if they can win that battle, another bonus point win should be well within their grasp.
