Under 15 birth dates for the 2017/18 season fall between 1st September 2002 and 31st August 2003 (year 10)
We train on Sunday mornings on the polo fields in Richmond Park from 11.00am-1.00pm and every few weeks at the club on the 3G pitch.
This page is for the official stuff – more fun stuff goes on our Facebook page.
This year the squad is taking part in the Middlesex & Herts League for U15s.
We have a core team who have been very successful, many of them growing up together through the Park Minis and Youth.
We are now moving onwards and upwards and our core aims are:
With that in mind Youth Rugby is all about maintaining skills progression and developing them over the year combined with lots of fitness and fun. We have a number of RFU Level 1 and 2 qualified coaches, first aiders and RFU qualified referees.
We encourage parents to get involved, and will support those who want to take qualifications, so there are enough for all the players to have a great time. All first aiders, coaches and referees are CRB checked.
As a club we are very proud of our history of producing International, International Sevens and Premiership players. Closer to home and of more immediate interest to both players and parents alike we develop numerous players every year who go on to win Sports and All Rounder Scholarships at Hampton, Whitgift, Trinity, Dulwich, Millfield, Epsom College, Tonbridge, Marlborough and other schools that hand out awards for rugby.
Enthusiasm is as important as experience, and lack of school rugby is no barrier. We particularly welcome state school boys with a desire and commitment to play rugby – so please contact our age group Manager: Paul Webster via email: email@example.com
Rugby is essentially a late development sport. Not long ago one U17 started his first season of rugby as a Park beginner and ended the year with a full call up to Wasps. It’s never too late to have a go. If you haven’t played before – don’t worry. Maybe you are fast, or big (or both), or have the ability to knock someone over or don’t know and want to try.
Even if you just fancy a change of environment/team/format/coaching – come along and try. There’s a reason players enjoy life at Rosslyn Park.
