The Nomads are a hard touring social rugby side, once referred to by a certain English World Cup Winning centre as epitomising “what rugby is all about”.
The Nomads play their particular style of social rugby in Surry RFU Championship and are always on the lookout for talented players who have no interest in training. Any enquiries, please email RPNomads@gmail.com.
As active off the pitch as they are on it the Nomads social calendar includes an annual European Tour, a 3 course Christmas Lunch with unlimited wine and port, a Summer BBQ with unlimited Pimms and a black tie End of Season Dinner as well an many other less formal social engagements.
The Nomads claim an important place in rugby history as the remaining link to the Marlborough Nomads, one of the 21 founding clubs of the modern RFU. The Marlborough Nomads joined Rosslyn Park in 1911.
